Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes hauling dry freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs; verify bills of lading and complete paperwork; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Demonstrates reliability, safety-consciousness, strong time management, and professional communication with dispatch and customers; must be a team player and capable of collaborating in yard and on the road.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
