Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) to transport freight; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and paperwork; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean; strong communication, reliability, and team orientation; benefits include paid orientation, weekly home time, HazMat certification cost covered, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and holiday pay.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
