Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight on regional lanes, handling general, hazmat, and temperature-sensitive cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly. Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat. Maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment ready. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, High School Diploma or GED; HazMat endorsement preferred not required; strong time management and clear communication; team orientation and reliability.
