Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (400–500 miles per trip) to transport freight, including hazmat or temperature-sensitive loads. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, and follow hazmat procedures. Maintain DOT/FMCSA paperwork and accurate HOS logs; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Requires strong safety focus, reliable time management, and clear customer communication.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required.
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
