Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) to transport freight, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (hazmat/temperature-sensitive), maintain DOT/FMCSA logs and required documentation, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Maintain accurate bills of lading, ensure paperwork is complete, communicate professionally with customers/dispatch, and demonstrate reliability, safety, and teamwork on the road and in the yard.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
