Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry freight regionally from Wooster, OH. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as required), maintaining DOT/FMCSA paperwork and HOS logs, verifying bills of lading, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and basic vehicle maintenance. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, high school diploma or GED, and DOT/FMCSA physical requirements; HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Must be reliable, safety-focused, and a clear communicator with dispatch and customers.
