Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry freight regionally (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat, follow handling procedures, and maintain DOT/FMCSA documentation (HOS logs, bills of lading). Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; communicate professionally with dispatch and customers; team-focused and safety-conscious. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and weekly home time. Compensation includes mileage-based pay with a minimum of $1,350 per week and potential bonuses; HazMat certification cost covered by the company.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required

- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
