Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight across regional lanes, including general and hazmat/temperature-sensitive cargo. Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/secure cargo, report defects, maintain HOS logs and required DOT/FMCSA documentation, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Demonstrate reliability, safety-consciousness, clear communication with customers/dispatch, and teamwork in a professional driving role.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
