Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional lanes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH); perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean; communicate professionally with customers and dispatch; work as part of a safety-conscious team to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
