Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment ready; demonstrate reliability, accountability, and safety-conscious behavior, with clear communication to customers and dispatch; work as a team to ensure efficient on-time deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
