Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional freight lanes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain DOT/FMCSA logs and paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to communicate professionally with customers and dispatch; team-oriented and able to work toward on-time performance and compliant operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
