Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight regionally, including general commodities and hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and handle basic vehicle maintenance. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and HazMat certification coverage; compensation features starting 25% of line haul with increases to 28% after 90 days, plus additional pay for stops, detention, and other driver-type pay.
