Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely on multi-stop regional routes originating in Tacoma, WA, transporting dry van retail freight across Washington, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, California, and Montana. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, monitor hours of service, and verify load counts, seals, and documentation at every pickup and delivery. Plan fuel and rest stops while communicating proactively with dispatch regarding weather, traffic, or customer delays. Maintain equipment cleanliness, report mechanical issues promptly, and represent the client professionally at retail locations. Home time occurs every two weeks with two days off, supported by new automatic transmission trucks. This dedicated account offers an average of $1,505 weekly with pay per mile and bonus incentives.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Meeting all Department of Transportation qualification requirements
- Holding a current DOT medical certification
- An acceptable motor vehicle record
- A safety history
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Compliance with all federal testing requirements throughout employment
- Reliable transportation to work
