Job Summary
CDL-A Regional Truck Driver operates tractor/trailer equipment under DOT regulations to transport medical equipment from distribution centers to hospital destinations, delivering multi-stop white-glove service across MI and neighboring states. Responsibilities include conducting full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining daily logs and trip reports, unloading/loading hospital equipment (including beds, cots, crib, furniture) with crane-assisted unload, and communicating delivery issues to management. Requires strong customer service, ability to move equipment, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Good driving record
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service preferred but is NOT required
- Stable employment history
- Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers
- Must have strong, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area
- Pallet-jack experience preferred
