Job Summary
Regional CDL-A driver responsible for white-glove delivery of medical equipment to hospitals. Operates tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT regulations, performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintains driver logs, and communicates delivery issues. Tasks include unloading/loading equipment (beds, mattresses, ambulance cots, pediatric cribs, etc.) with cranes on site, using pallet jacks, and delivering to multiple states with overnight per diem. Requires strong customer service and ability to work with hospital staff; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401K match, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Good driving record
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Strong, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area
- Pallet-jack experience preferred
