Job Summary
Regional Class A Driver delivering medical equipment to hospitals with white-glove service. Operates tractor/trailer in accordance with DOT regulations; performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintains driver logs; unloads/load equipment (beds, mattresses, ambulance cots, trial machines, pediatric cribs, furniture) at hospitals using a crane-equipped trailer; multi-stop deliveries across MS, AL, GA, TN, NC, SC, and FL Pan Handle; per diem for overnights; paid hourly with weekly direct deposit; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401K match, tuition reimbursement; must have CDL-A, 2 years driving experience, manual transmission capability, pass background/DOT checks, and strong customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A
- 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- manual transmission
- good driving record
- pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- strong, excellent customer service and communication skills
- must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area
- Pallet-jack experience preferred
