Job Summary
Regional Class A Driver needed to operate tractor-trailer across multiple states delivering hospital medical equipment with white-glove service. Responsibilities include safe DOT-compliant transport from Distribution Centers to vendors and hospitals, timely delivery, securing product, completing driver logs and trip reports, performing full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting delivery issues, loading/unloading equipment (beds, mattresses, ambulance cots, trial machines, pediatriccribs, furniture), and utilizing a crane-equipped trailer for unloading. Must maintain strong customer service and communication, pass background checks and DOT testing, and possess manual transmission experience. Per diem of $60 for overnights, hourly pay of $28 with weekly direct deposit, quarterly safety bonus, and benefits including medical/dental/vision from day 1, holidays, PTO, 401K match, and tuition reimbursement. Coverage area includes MS, AL, GA, TN, NC, SC, and FL Panhandle; Chattanooga, TN location listed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Good driving record
- Must be able to pass background check
- DOT drug screen
- DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service preferred but is NOT required
- Stable employment history
- Must have strong, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area
- Pallet-jack experience preferred
