Job Summary
Regional Class A driver responsible for white-glove delivery of medical equipment to hospitals across multiple states. Operates tractor/trailer in compliance with DOT regulations, conducts full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintains driver logs and trip reports, and communicates delivery issues to management. Unloads/loads equipment (including beds, pediatric cribs, ambulance cots, etc.) and places equipment inside hospital docks; trailers equipped with a crane to assist. Performs multi-stop deliveries with strong emphasis on safety and on-time arrival. Requires manual transmission operation and capability to push/pull/load equipment; experience with pallet jacks preferred. Travel includes Lower MI, IN, OH, KY, IL, Western PA, and WV with per diem for overnights; benefits available from day 1, including medical, dental, visual, PTO, 401K match; quarterly safety bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Good driving record
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service preferred but is NOT required
- Stable employment history
- Must have strong, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area
- Pallet-jack experience preferred
