Job Summary
CDL-A regional driver needed to operate tractor/trailer equipment under DOT rules, transporting and delivering medical equipment to hospitals with white-glove service. Responsibilities include maintaining logs and trip reports, performing pre/post-trip inspections, communicating delivery/issues to management, unloading/loading equipment (including crane-assisted hospital docks), and completing multi-stop routes across multiple states with safety bonuses and weekly pay. Must have CDL-A, manual transmission capability, clean driving record, pass background/DOT screenings, and strong customer service skills. Centreville, MI-based role with local-state travel across Lower MI, IN, OH, KY, IL, Western PA, and WV.
Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A.
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
- Good driving record.
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service preferred but is NOT required.
- Stable employment history.
- Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.
- Must have strong, excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area.
- Pallet-jack experience preferred.
