Job Summary
Regional Class A Driver delivering medical equipment to hospitals across MI, IN, OH, KY, IL, Western PA, and WV. Operates tractor-trailer in DOT-compliant manner, performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintains daily logs. Handles unloading/loading of hospital equipment (beds, mattresses, ambulance cots, pediatric cribs, furniture, etc.) using cranes and rollers for white-glove, multi-stop delivery. Communicates delivery issues to management and ensures equipment arrives secure and undamaged. Requires strong customer service and communication skills and the ability to push/pull/move equipment; pallet-jack experience preferred. Pay includes hourly wages with $60 per diem for overnights and quarterly safety bonus; benefits begin Day 1.
Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A.
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
- Good driving record.
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.
- Strong, excellent customer service and communication skills.
