Job Summary
Operates tractor/trailer equipment in accordance with DOT regulations to transport product from Distribution Centers to Vendor destinations, delivering and unloading medical equipment to hospitals (including beds, mattresses, ambulance cots, trial machines, pediatric cribs, furniture). Performs full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintains logs, and communicates delivery issues. Conducts multi-stop white-glove deliveries across TX, LA, MO, MS, AR, OK with crane-assisted unloading and on-site loading/unloading. Pays include hourly pay and a per diem for overnights, plus quarterly safety bonus; benefits start Day 1 (medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401K match, tuition reimbursement).
Required Qualifications
- Must have CDL-A.
- Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
- Good driving record.
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service preferred but is NOT required.
- Stable employment history.
- Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.
- Must have strong, excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area.
- Pallet-jack experience preferred.
