Job Summary
Operate tractor/trailer to transport medical equipment to hospitals in accordance with DOT regulations, delivering and unloading/loading equipment such as beds, mattresses, ambulance cots, trial machines, pediatric cribs, and furniture with white-glove service. Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain driver logs and trip reports, and communicate delivery issues to management. Conduct multi-stop deliveries to hospitals, ensuring on-time arrival and undamaged delivery of equipment, including handling unloading on rollers and using a crane-equipped trailer. Valid CDL-A and 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience required; manual transmission operation, strong customer service and communication skills, and ability to pass background checks and DOT screenings. Per diem provided for each overnight, with hourly pay and additional safety bonuses; benefits include medical/dental/vision, holidays, PTO, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A
- 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Good driving record
- Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Strong, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated area
- Pallet-jack experience preferred
