Job Summary
Operate a regional CDL-A truck primarily in South and Midwest lanes with 100% no-touch freight. Perform pre-trip inspections, count freight, complete fuel tickets, and open/close trailer doors requiring 46 lbs of force. Hook and unhook trailers requiring 90 lbs of force, and move freight requiring 54 lbs of force. Drive extensively while maintaining regular predictable attendance and enter/exit the rear of trailers from ground level. Earn $1,475 per week with stop, layover, breakdown, detention, and per diem pay. Home every week averaging 48+ hours, with 93% of drivers returning by noon on Saturdays. Requires one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience and a Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Class A CDL
- willingness to obtain a hazmat endorsement
- 21 years of age or older
- registration for the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- no convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
- no convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 5 years
- no suspensions or revocations for a moving violation within the last 5 years
- no serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality)
- no more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- no preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
- ability to lift 46 lbs

- ability to sit upright for extended periods of time
- regular predictable attendance
