Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A tractor with a flatbed trailer on regional Midwest routes, transporting flatbed freight while securing and unsecuring loads with proper equipment. Tarp and un-tarp freight as required, assisting with loading and unloading when necessary. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logs and shipping documentation, and communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and route updates. Follow all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company safety policies. Earn $1,600–$1,900 per week with home weekly, subject to a valid Class A CDL and minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- Safe driving record with stable work history
- Ability to properly secure, tarp, and transport flatbed freight
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and dependable
- English proficiency required
