Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling dry van freight across Michigan, Illinois, and other Midwest markets. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs, and accurately finish all required paperwork and transportation documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel while delivering freight safely and on schedule. Follow all company safety policies, report equipment concerns promptly, and represent the company professionally at customer locations. This position offers weekly home time, paid training, and consistent out-and-back runs for drivers seeking predictable schedules and reliable miles.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Ability to pass DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- SAP drivers may be considered if the program has been successfully completed and driving privileges have been fully reinstated
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
