Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling dry van freight across Michigan, Illinois, and other Midwest markets on consistent out-and-back routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs, and accurately complete all required paperwork and transportation documentation. Communicate with dispatch, deliver freight safely and on schedule, and report equipment concerns promptly while adhering to DOT and FMCSA regulations. Enjoy weekly home time with paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Ability to pass DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- SAP drivers may be considered if the program has been successfully completed and driving privileges have been fully reinstated
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
