Job Summary
Safely operate automatic tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes, completing thorough pre-trip inspections and maintaining accurate ELD logs per DOT regulations. Follow assigned routes efficiently to meet delivery windows while conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting mechanical concerns promptly. This role includes a Monday–Friday schedule with home every other day, averaging ~2,200 miles per week on dedicated lanes. Jarrett Trucking offers modern equipment, detention pay after one hour, and per-stop compensation to support drivers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- No disqualifying offenses or CDL loss in the last 3 years
- Must be cleared in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
