Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional or over-the-road routes transporting dry van freight efficiently. Complete 2,500-3,000 miles per week while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate DOT logs. Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and handle 99% drop-and-hook freight with minimal loading or unloading. Select your own flexible schedule based on preferred home time and location. This role features newer 2026 Kenworth T680 trucks and offers weekly earnings between $1,400 and $1,700. Pets are allowed on dedicated routes, and take-home truck options are available depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
- No automatic restriction (must be able to operate manual 10-speed trucks)
- No SAP (Substance Abuse Program) participation
- Maximum of 2 non-severe moving violations in the past 3 years
- Maximum of 2 non-severe accidents/incidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to run regional or OTR routes and stay out at least one week when needed
- Must live within a 70-mile radius of Des Moines, IA (flexibility available for extended routes)
