Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional or over-the-road routes transporting dry van freight efficiently. Complete 2,500-3,000 miles per week while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate logs. Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and schedules, handling 99% drop-and-hook freight with minimal loading and unloading. Choose your own flexible schedule based on preferred home time and location. Work with brand new 2026 Kenworth T680 trucks on dedicated routes.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
- Must be able to operate manual 10-speed trucks
- No SAP (Substance Abuse Program) participation
- Maximum of 2 non-severe moving violations in the past 3 years
- Maximum of 2 non-severe accidents/incidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to run regional or OTR routes and stay out at least one week when needed
- Must live within a 70-mile radius of Des Moines, IA
