Job Summary
Pipeline Field Technician II position supports client delivery operations with technical assistance across the US. Responsibilities include learning, assisting, mentoring technicians, and performing maintenance, repair, servicing, troubleshooting, overhauling, installation, and commissioning of gas-fired and electric-driven compressor packages. Ensures DOT/OSHA compliance, proper documentation, quality and customer service, effective teamwork, problem solving, adaptable schedules, and clean worksites. Travel across the US with 12-hour shifts, night shift required, overtime and weekend availability. Full-time with benefits and guaranteed 40 hours per week; compensation $30-$35/hour based on experience. Requires CDL A with 2 years’ experience; associates in electrical/instrumentation or related field is a plus; travel over 50% often with short notice.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL with 2 years’ experience
- Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field is an asset
- Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude
- Flexible for travel throughout the USA – Travel over 50% and sometimes with short notice
- Basic electrical understanding
- Hydraulic and pneumatic actuation
- Understanding, calibrating and operating electronic sensors
- Positive attitude with excellent communication & customer service skills
- Mechanical certifications or degrees are a plus
