Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry freight across regional OTR lanes from Wooster, OH. Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, securing cargo (hazmat/load-specific procedures as needed), maintaining accurate HOS/DOT/FMCSA documentation, planning routes to meet delivery windows, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers. Paid orientation with weekly home time; competitive mileage pay ($0.54–$0.56/mi with bonuses up to $0.60/mi) and additional pay for stops, detentions, and hazmat loads. Requires a valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; HS Diploma/GED; DOT/FMCSA medical; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid vacation.
