Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo across regional OTR lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. HazMat loads and detention pay are part of the compensation scope. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, High School Diploma or GED, and DOT/FMCSA physicals; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required. Team-oriented, safety-conscious, reliable, and customer-focused with strong time management and communication skills.
