Job Summary
Operates Class A tractor-trailers on OTR routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) hauling freight including hazmat and temperature-sensitive shipments. Performs pre-trip/post-trip inspections, secures cargo, and maintains logbooks and DOT/FMCSA paperwork. Coordinates route planning to meet pickup/delivery windows; handles paperwork such as bills of lading and receipts. Maintains vehicle and trailer readiness, conducts basic maintenance, and communicates with dispatch. Works with a safety-conscious, reliable team, with paid orientation, weekly home time, and competitive mileage-based pay plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
