CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight on OTR regional routes, including dry van freight and hazmat or temperature-sensitive loads. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; report defects and violations; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; follow special handling procedures for hazmat and other loads. Demonstrates reliability, safety-consciousness, strong time-management, and clear communication with customers and dispatch; works well as a team. Salary is paid by mileage with bonuses and benefits; paid orientation; weekly home time; 401(k); vacation and holidays; HazMat certification cost covered by the company.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
