Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on OTR dry freight routes from Wooster, OH to 400–500 miles away; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and paperwork; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; basic vehicle maintenance and trailer readiness; competitive mileage pay ($0.54–$0.56 per mile) with safety bonus up to $0.04 per mile and a $1,350+ weekly potential; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation; HazMat certification cost covered by WMW.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
