CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight including hazmat or temperature-sensitive cargo on OTR routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) with a focus on safety and reliability. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing cargo, maintaining HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation, planning routes, and completing paperwork such as bills of lading. Compensation includes mileage-based pay with a minimum weekly earnings potential, a quarterly safety bonus, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation). The role emphasizes being reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player, with requirements for a valid CDL-A and high school diploma or GED, and DOT/FMCSA physicals. HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. TWIC is not required. Must be able to operate dry van freight on regional OTR lanes with no East Coast lanes or long-haul lines, and be able to perform basic vehicle maintenance and on-road duties.
