Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general and hazmat freight on OTR routes from Wooster, OH. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo (hazmat and temperature-sensitive where applicable), maintaining accurate DOT/FMCSA HOS logs and required paperwork, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. Requires strong communication and safety consciousness; team-oriented; meets DOT/FMCSA physical requirements; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; High School Diploma or GED. Pay structure includes mileage pay with bonuses and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid vacation; weekly home time; HazMat certification reimbursed; equipment includes modern features for driver comfort.
