Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight on OTR regional lanes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight when applicable), maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Demonstrates reliability, time-management, and clear communication with customers and dispatch; works as a team and adheres to safety protocols. Compensation includes mileage pay with start and experienced rates, quarterly safety bonus, weekly home time, and various pay and benefit enhancements; equipment includes fully-equipped trucks and employer-covered HazMat certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- DOT/FMCSA physical requirements must pass
- TWIC card preferred not required
