Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight on regional/OTR lanes, including dry freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as applicable); maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation; verify bills of lading and signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; conduct basic vehicle maintenance; communicate effectively with dispatch and customers; standby for home time on a weekly cadence. HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Requires High School Diploma or GED and valid Class A CDL; DOT/FMCSA physical requirements must be met. Equipment includes fully equipped trucks with comfort features; various pay components including mileage pay, bonuses, and overtime as described.
