Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry freight on OTR routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight; maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; communicate with dispatch; and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Requires reliable, safety-conscious teamwork, clear communication with customers and dispatch, and adherence to regulatory requirements. HazMat loads may be involved; HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Includes paid orientation, benefits, and weekly home time.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
