Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on OTR dry-van routes traveling 400–500 miles from Wooster, OH. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo including hazmat, maintain DOT/FMCSA logs, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and conduct basic vehicle maintenance. Team player who communicates well with dispatch and customers, with a focus on safety and reliability. Compensation includes mileage pay with tiered rates, quarterly bonuses, and various driver-administration benefits; weekly home time and hazmat/other pay enhancements are available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
