Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry freight on OTR regional lanes from Wooster, OH. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading/SECURING cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive when applicable), maintaining DOT/FMCSA logs and paperwork, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and ensuring safe, compliant operation with a focus on safety-conscious, reliable teamwork and professional customer communication. Requires a valid Class A CDL and a HS diploma or GED; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; DOT/FMCSA medical fitness required; TWIC preferred but not required. Compensation includes mileage pay (0.54–0.60 per mile depending on experience), weekly minimums around $1,350 with potential for more, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
