CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo across regional OTR lanes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly. Load, secure, and inspect cargo with procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation. Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure paperwork is complete. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Requires CDL-A, ability to communicate professionally with customers and dispatch, and a safety-conscious, team-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL — required
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
