Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly. Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight handling procedures. Maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation; verify bills of lading and signatures. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean. Requirements: Valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; High School Diploma or GED; pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements; TWIC card preferred but not required.
