Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers on OTR routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH) to transport dry freight and hazmat-sensitive cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow hazmat procedures; maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documents; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; be reliable, safety-conscious, and a clear communicator. Pays include starting rate per mile with experience tiers, quarterly safety bonus, and weekly minimum pay. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and HazMat certification reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- High School Diploma or GED
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
