Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport dry-freight cargo on OTR regional lanes from Wooster-area operations. duties include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as required), maintaining accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork, verifying bills of lading, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. Emphasizes reliability, safety, clear customer communication, and teamwork on the road and in the yard.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- High School Diploma or GED
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required
- TWIC card preferred not required
- Must pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
