CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, including hazmat or temperature-sensitive cargo, on OTR routes (400–500 miles from Wooster, OH). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow hazmat handling procedures. Maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation; verify bills of lading and collect signatures. Plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Requires a valid Class A CDL; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; HS diploma or GED; TWIC preferred but not required; must meet DOT/FMCSA physical requirements. Strong emphasis on reliability, safety-consciousness, time management, and customer/dispatcher communication; team-oriented mindset.
