Job Summary
Conduct over-the-road long-haul LTL freight for Elite Express using assigned Volvo, Kenworth, and Peterbilt tractors with automatic transmissions and refrigeration. Operate under a no-touch policy with full accessorial pay, bonuses, and per-diem compensation. Maintain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements while adhering to strict safety standards, including no major violations in the last five years. Work an 11-out-of-14-day schedule with weekly pay, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive health benefits starting within 30 to 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Minimum Driving Experience: 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer Class A
- Required Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A)
- Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- No major/serious violations in the last 5 years including leaving the scene of an accident, speeding violations 15 mph over posted speed limit, reckless/careless driving, and driving under the influence DUI or DWI
- No drug convictions, positive screens, or refusals within the last (5) five years
- No Felony convictions within the past 10 years
- Verifiable work history, most recent (3) three years
- Drivers are required to be available to run 11 out of 14 days
- Drivers are required to be available to drive when their shift resets
