Job Summary
Drive solo OTR routes from the Carolinas to California, Washington, and Oregon hauling fresh produce. Operate top-of-the-line equipment with owner-operator specs, handling drop and pick up pay. Maintain a clean safety record with no serious violations or drug/alcohol issues within the last five years. New drivers average $1,550 per week, with pay increasing based on seniority and trip distance. Earn a $2,500 sign-on bonus within 90 days, quarterly safety bonuses, and a yearly hire-anniversary bonus. Join Turner Trucking, a family-owned business providing express freight service, as a safe, experienced driver with at least three years of OTR and six months of reefer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years OTR experience
- At least 6 months of reefer trailer experience
- Minimum Age: 25 years old
- No more than 4 moving violations within the last three years and no more than 2 in the last 12 months
- No serious violations in the past 3 years (such as Reckless or Careless driving; Use of a hand held device while driving; etc.)
- No drug or alcohol violations within the last 5 years
- No more than 2 minor preventable accidents within the last 3 years
- No serious at fault preventable accidents within the last 3 years ( ex: rear end collisions; rollover; jack knife; head on collision; etc.)
- Must not have had more than 3 jobs within the last 12 months
