Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle over long distances transporting general freight, including spot loads and live animals. Plan and manage routes efficiently while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate DOT logs. Coordinate with dispatch for load updates and terminal transitions, ensuring cargo remains secure and delivered in good condition. Manage time effectively during extended trips and adhere to all safety standards. This role features a 4 weeks on the road, 1 week home schedule with company-paid flights for home time.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- No felonies
- No DUI within the last 3 years
